Start Up - Senior DeveloperAn early stage bit coin start-up have rapidly expanded ( already offices in London, Singapore & New York ) since the middle of last year and are looking to set up an additional, new London based office. My client is pre funded by some very big backers and as the next phase of development start's a need for a London based office is key.
The role:
You will be joining a small team of talented individuals mostly from a finance background who together have over 50 years of experience working within a top level.
Your role will include working on a trading platform that allows you to make leveraged directional bets on the value of Bitcoin, trades are placed in units of BTC per Point
Skills:
* At least 5 years commercial financial experience ( Bank, Hedge Fund, Financial Software)
* Core Java
* Multiple components of Spring - MVC, Security, Batch, Integration, IOC
* RESTful web services
* Knowledge of testing frameworks/mocking - Selenium, jUnit, Cucumber, Gherkin
* Knowledge of Agile development, ideally with exposure to TDD/BDD/XP
* Knowledge with PHP & Some Ruby would be helpful
* Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, algorithms
