MI Analyst - Banking - Edinburgh - £/dayOur client, a Top 4 UK Bank, are currently looking for an MI Analyst to work out of their Edinburgh offices on a long term contract.
The successful MI Analyst candidate will be responsible for the following:
Monthly MI reporting
- Prepare and deliver monthly flash and final reporting results and supporting the production of Monthly MI reports
- Monitor and manage normalised P&L submissions
- Work with wider Finance teams to deliver new initiatives and implement new and robust MI processes, systems and procedures to provide consistent, timely and focussed MI
- Support delivery of Global MI reporting and an ability to work effectively with offshore resources
- Develop new report formats as instructed
Planning and forecasting
- To support the MI team by providing accurate, timely and meaningful planning, forecasting and analysis of business performance.
- Develop monthly forecasting approach and collate / consolidate returns from our regions
- A key requirement will be the ability to co-ordinate and resolve of other ad hoc queries raised with our overseas locations
The manager is looking for candidates will the following experience:
- A mimimum of 2-3 years experience as an MI Analyst within a large Financial Instituition is ESSENTIAL
- Working within and supporting Finance teams is highly desirable
- Advanced MS Office skills, in particular Excel
