Senior Risk Manager / Credit Risk / SAS / Milton Keynes/ £70Main responsibilities will involve:
- Delivering the data and reporting outputs as required.
- Understanding the strategy of the different business areas and how this influences the data required
- Ensuring that the stakeholders understand and accept the priorities and timescales by communicating details of workloads and changes to priorities or structure.
- Balancing the business as usual workload with demanding data related project work and ad hoc high priority short deadline requests. The ability to be agile, flexible and hands-on with the delivery of the work will be a critical success factor.
- Ensuring that the resource is managed well and, remains motivated and delivery focused
Skills and qualifications will include:
- Experience of managing multi disciplined technical experts across a variety of products
- Experience of prioritisation and delegation on a variety of cross functional projects
- Significant experience using any or several of the following tools and software (Oracle, SAS, Access, Excel, Business Objects).
- Excellent problem solving skills and significant experience working on data management and development related projects.
- Ability to be hands-on and deliver, understand and validate complex data and reporting output across all credit products of the bank
- Ability to explain complex financial and credit risk issues and influence Executive Management
- Experience of successfully leading and delivering on multiple complex projects and initiatives.
- Ability to motivate and lead groups of people, maintaining momentum and delivery
- Strong people management skills and a passionate desire to develop teams and individuals to achieve their maximum potential
- You should be seen as a subject matter expert in this role therefore strong analytical ability with a very keen eye for detail
- Proven track record in translating complex concepts into clear and simple communication tailored to meet the needs of the audience and to gain the desired outcome.
- Ability to articulate key messages and analysis outcomes clearly and concisely to senior management on a regular basis.
Salary - 70K
