5.0KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
5.1 Knowledge
Knowledge of the technology and working practices of the discipline.
5.2 Experience
5.2.1 If a Bachelors Degree:
A commensurate amount of post graduate training and experience with experience of most stages of projects from concept to commissioning, have preferably been employed in a design contractor's office or alternatively a client's or equipment manufacturers design office and had the opportunity of feedback from at least one completed project.
5.2.2 If alternative qualifications:
A commensurate amount of experience in an engineering capacity as noted above.
5.3 Qualifications
5.3.1 Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Applied Science or equivalent.
Qualifications acceptable for admission as a Chartered Engineer.
5.3.2 Alternative Qualifications:
HNC / HND or equivalent + commensurate demonstratable experience
5.4 Status
Permanent staff.
