UX/UI Designer (remote job)

Who we are
Fishisfast is a parcel forwarding company that provides people outside the US with a US address. We provide an interface for users to interact with the items they’ve received and eventually ship them to an address overseas.

What we need
We are in need of a user experience specialist to enhance both our marketing site and our proprietary app built on Ruby on Rails. We want not only a well designed face on the site, but an entire experience that makes it easy to use our application. You’ll be taking responsibility for the user’s entire front-end experience and interacting with our back-end database managed by other developers.

What you’ll need to know

Knowledge: Ruby on Rails, Bootstrap, HAML, CSS, AJAX, etc. and relational data bases (MySQL, Postgress)

Ability to work remotely (via email, chat, voice/video calls)

Experience in responsive design and page optimization

Experience using analytics to better the user experience

A critical eye for detail as well as a passion for the user’s experience. “What if we tried red instead of blue?” should be the type of question that’s very important to you
