Description
My client is a UK based Management consultancy and they are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator, who has experience with SQL Server , has experience working on Production critical databases. Our ideal candidate will need to be professional, articulate and be able to communicate at all levels as you will be required to work on various client sites with regular overnight stays.The key skills required for this role are:
-SQL Server
-Database migration experience up to SQL Server 2012
-Production support
-Experience in leading a team
-Experience supporting/maintaining a large number of production systems for a large company working to SLA's
-Resolve incidents, perform user requests, planned maintenance & assist in client project work
-Experience working with a mixed on shore/off shore DBA support team
-Analysis of performance issues
If you have any experience with any of the following will be highly desirable:
-Experience managing off shore DBA's
-Previous experience working for a consultancy
-Knowledge/experience of other database technologies (Oracle, DB2 etc.)
As mentioned above, you must be willing to travel/work on client sites (potentially for extended periods/stay away from home)
