Description
Based in Oxfordshire, a key client of mine is looking for an electronics/electrical engineer for an initial 6 month project.
The following skill set is essential:
- AutoCAD or TurboCAD experience
- Previous experience working with Electronic/Electrical wiring diagrams.
- Able to generate test documentation for manufacture.
- Previous experience with Basic Test Equipment and custom test jigs and fixtures.
Also would be advantageous to have:
- A scientific instrument background - or technology manufacturing
- Ability to populate PCB's and work with wiring to create cable-forms for prototypes, pre-production units and custom test equipment.
- PCB Test and analysis to component level.
- Knowledge of parts databases - Sage 200, Oracle or similar.
The initial focus of the project will be to assist in getting the product transferred from R&D into Production.
It will involve documenting the prototype systems and writing work instructions for production.
