Description
My client is actively seeking a Project/Mechanical Engineer for there Engineering Center of Excellence. This group is responsible for new product development and modifying existing products. The products are typically skid mounted with vessels, piping system, control valves, etc. It may also include plant design.Key Responsibilites
- Ensures products are engineered properly and all engineering deliverables are available to internal and extenal customers accoding to schedule.
-Work closely with designers and others
-Conduct design reviews and prepare for HAZOP
-Works closely with vendors to provide technical and commercial info for selected equipment
-Work closely with estimators
-Coordinates all aspects of technical content changes during design phase and reports these changes during design phase and reports these changes for revised scope, cost, and schedule considerations
Job Requirements
-Preferred Education and Relevant Experience/Training
-Bachelo's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related field
-10+ years related experience and/or trainging in Oil and Gas or relevant industries
-Experience with incorporating modular or packaged equipment systems into an overall plant design
-Experience in packaging and skid mounting of equipment
