Role: Senior Information Security ArchitectRate: € Daily Rate
Location: South
Type: 4-6 month contract
An investment bank in Dublin City Centre is seeking an information security architect. The successful applicant is required to review the current information security within the bank and report on and issues that need to be rectified.
Day-to-day
- Develop policies for the secure management across multiple platforms including development and maintenance of encryption policies, intrusion detection and network authentication.
-Support the Infrastructure Services Manager with scoping, designing, installing and maintaining network infrastructure
-Proactively administrate and develop all network infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
-Manage the provision of resource to carry out 3rd line support
-Ensure network design and builds allow operations to take responsibility for the analysis and reporting of data - capacity, performance, security access, and network & projected usage
-Uphold network security policies as defined by IT Security & Compliance function
-Design operational processes, procedures within networks following industry best practices, policies, standards and compliance/regulatory requirement
-Fault finding, analysis or logging information and reporting of performance exceptions.
-Improve operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to leverage existing and create new relationships with other IT groups within the business.
Experience/Requirements
- Information Security Risk Management experience within a large, global organisation.
- Enterprise architecture experience
- Understanding of technologies typical to a large enterprise
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with senior stakeholder management experience
- Information Security certification (CISSP, CISM etc)
- 5+ years of experience managing security systems
- Requires a minimum of Bachelors degree in a related field or foreign equivalent
