Description
The senior level system administrator is an individual with extensive product knowledge of WebSphere.
You'll have to plan, install and configure the product towards the implement applications, set up distributed queuing, enable appropriate security, administer and operate a queue manager network.
As well you should be able to enforce organizational and operational standards, perform basic problem determination and implement clustering and publish/subscribe topologies.
Requirement:
AIX & Linux skills (incl. Shell Scripting)
WebSphere Application Server ND (v6.1,v7.0,v8.5)
Application deployment
SSL
IBM httpserver or Apache httpserver & WAS plugin
networks (TCP/IP, routing)
clustering & loadbalancing
Jython
good communication skills
ITIL certification required.
Work experience needed
Min 5 years working as a senior WAS engineer within a project environment
Experience of above within a project environment using ITIL and Prince concepts
Must haves
IBM Foundational Competencies
High customer focus whilst ensuring IBMs standards and policies are maintained
Solid business communication skills both written and verbal, English mandatory plus Dutch preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates living in the Netherlands.
