Strategy Consultant (Oil / Gas / Energy), LondonA global Commodities Strategy Consultancy is offering the opportunity for ambitious consulting professionals to provide in-depth commercial advisory services within the Oil / Gas / Power / Utilities markets.
You will help to lead various projects including the management of work streams. These projects will focus on providing advisory services for commercial aspects of the oil / gas / power / utilities industries which may include assessments, appraisals, due diligence, planning, organisation design, corporate development in addition to several other project categories.
You will be responsible for leading teams of analysts who will provide the main research & analysis. This will allow you to be able to focus more of your time on the delivery of each project by helping to develop conclusions and solutions working alongside senior team members.
Strategy Consulting will always involve an element of business development and in this role, it is required. You will be expected to continue to develop your own personal expertise within your chosen commodity / energy market whilst also pitching to clients and developing proposals to win business for the company. There is therefore a high level of client interaction.

You Will Have:
- A strong higher level degree (MSc / MA minimum) in a numerate discipline from a top tier University.
- Minimum of 4 years deep sector knowledge and experience from working within one or more of these industries (Oil, Gas, Power, Utilities).
- Candidates MUST have some experience of consulting or project delivery work. This can be from an in-house energy / oil & gas company or a commodities consultancy (or equiv).
- Applicants must be numerate, be able to generate high-quality work well under pressure and be a strong team player.
- Candidates must have a strong interest in strategy development and an ability to articulate the strategic factors associated with these commodities markets in today's world.
