A top Bank in Whippany NJ is looking to hire a It Support Analyst with Financial Experience
This is a 6 Month contract with the opportunity to extend.

Main Function

As a member of the CSPT and CCL Support Team, you will be involved with problem analysis and bug-fixes with deep-dive analysis into key applications, looking to improve monitoring and capacity management.

You will also provide 2nd/3rd line support for the CSPT and CCL suite of applications. Supported is provided in London from 0800 to 1800 (and in Singapore from 0000 to 0800) with on-call support provided on a rota basis 24x7.

Main Duties

Get involved with bug fixing and application enhancements, and many of the ITIL disciplines, e.g. DR testing, capacity management, problem management.

Provide 2nd/3rd line support across a range of applications from FX Settlements systems running on HP Non-Stop infrastructure to smaller applications running on Windows/Unix/Linux platforms with MSSQL and Oracle backend databases.

Person Requirements

A highly analytical individual, with experience of problem solving and trouble shooting. Experience of supporting applications (2nd and 3rd line), preferably in an investment banking environment.

Understanding of ITIL and/or experience working in an ITIL-structured support environment. Some knowledge of financial products, ideally FX and/or Money Markets.
