Description
My client, a FTSE 100 FMCG Organisation is seeking a high calibre Group Financial Accountant to join on a contract basis within the Group Reporting team.
Reporting to the Group Reporting controller, your core responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of the Year end consolidated reports and accounts.
- Completion of UK subsidiary statutory accounts.
- Ensure that all general accounting is accurate and complies with Group accounting policy (IFRS) and local requirements.
- Balance sheet and P&L Reporting.
- Detailed forecast and variance analysis and to oversee purchase and sales ledger.
- Key liaison with Group auditors.
The successful candidate will be a highly driven qualified accountant, ideally from a Big 4 with considerable exposure to statutory accounts and have strong IFRS and UK GAAP experience. You will ideally have a consumer/retail background and be able to work in a large, fast moving environment.
