Web Developer We've redesigned our website and are looking for an experienced web developer to join us in the building process. You will collaborate with members of our research and development team in-house at our midtown Manhattan studio for about four weeks with the possibility of extending. Ideally, you'll be up-to-date with the latest standards and techniques in web development and will play a leading role in deciding how to best build the site to meet our needs.
Required Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science/Programming, Website Design/Development, or a related field of study
- 3+ years of experience developing websites for clients
- Languages: HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, XML
- Experience with web design/development optimized for mobile devices
- Broad knowledge of industry principles, trends, and emerging ideas
- Experience working with back-end Content Management Systems

- Experience developing back-end Content Management Systems
- Experience working with APIs, SQL databases, SEO
- Experience building websites using Python frameworks
- Can organize tasks, manage projects, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
