IV. Description of Duties and Responsibilities

* Contribute to portfolio creation and improvement through strategic business decisions with partners.

* Provide engineering expertise (field development scenario planning, production profiles, cost estimation, economic evaluation, etc.) in support of new and existing exploration opportunities and production assets.

* Provide expertise in reservoir characterization including basic log analysis, well test interpretation (PTA), PVT and SCAL analysis.

* Build and optimize 3-D reservoir simulation models.

* Well performance surveillance and accurate production forecasting utilizing classic reservoir engineering methods and/or reservoir simulation.

* Actively involved in EOR/IOR strategy optimization including water injection, gas lifting, sub-sea pumps, etc.

* Recommend well recompletion and field development strategies for existing fields.

* Leading or directly involved in estimating hydrocarbon reserves in proven or prospective fields and work with the G&G team and Reserve Auditors to ensure a thorough and rigorous technical analysis that follows best industry practices.

V. Requirements

Education Requirement:

Minimum requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university.

Master's or Ph.D. Degrees preferred.

Overall Experience Requirement:

More than 20 years of practical reservoir engineering experience with an active major, large independent or national oil company.

Recent Mexico Experience Requirement:

Morer than 15 years Mexico experience.
