Epic Information Security AnalystAre you a skilled Epic Security Analyst seeking for an excellent Job Opportunity in California? If so then look no further. We are currently seeking a skilled individual who can deliver the following:
- Performs installation, monitoring and maintenance of Epic security systems and standards for the Epic application relying on established information security procedures and precedents.
- Provides ITS solutions and services which ultimately contribute to patient safety and care.
The essential functions of this fantastic Job opportunity are as follows:
- To support the security and confidentiality of Epic information and systems.
- Establish standards for role-based security within the Epic application; define access, create templates for secure access to Epic modules.
- Participate in the implementation of key security initiatives and policies, to protect information systems from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction.
- Participate in internal analysis and security reviews to support Epic applications.
- To remain current on potential business threats and is proactive in supporting new security policies and modifications to current security policies.
The Desired Qualifications for this Epic Security Analyst role include:
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, computer science, or related field required; experience or alternative degree may be considered in lieu of required education.
- Epic Security Coordinator certification required or Epic Application certification with Epic Security training.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare or business environment and experience with Epic applications.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an EPIC Security analyst role.
Compensation
If you prove your excellence you will not be taken for granted. This position is for a one year contract with potential for extension or conversion. The position will pay a minimum of $100per hour. Do not hesitate to apply today.
