An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client are currently looking for a Global Category Marketing Manager. This is contract role until the end of 2014 paying up to £50K pro rata, depending on experience.

The role of Global Category Marketing Manager is to drive growth by co-creating and driving the Category strategy and driving mid-term and long term global innovation and plan.

Scope:
The successful candidate will be working on a top priority category within Food solutions and is the leading global category in terms of growth (5.5% YTD). There is huge space to further develop the category and the goal is to grow the business to 300M€ by 2017.

Key responsibilities
*Co-create Category strategy working closely with global category marketing director to maximise growth, striking balance between short and long-term priorities.
*Manage Global category innovation and renovation projects from insight to launch mid term and long term.
*Establish close team working with Category Mix managers to ensure they are involved and launch projects and strategy in their countries and have the required category expertise.
*Sharpen and protect brand guidelines to ensure branding and communication is consistent and communicates the core proposition appropriately in all markets.
*Sharpen, role out and protect global strategic pricing guidelines.
*Ensure the category strategy is well communicated and understood
*Manage bought-in cost budget on project base.
*Drive category Visibility strategy

KPI's:
*Deliver category strategy that will grow category to €300M by 2017
*Deliver Category UVG, USG and GM annual targets and IPM funnel value

Relevant Experience
*More than 8 years marketing experience, focused primarily on category marketing. Successfully delivered in brand development roles.
*Proven track record of working in a regional/global environment.
*Affinity with OOH environment is a plus.
