Principal QA - Contract - London - £500/day
Agile QA, Low latency, Continuous integration
Key responsibilities and duties
- To disseminate industry knowledge of approaches to quality and testing across the department.
- Mentoring/Coaching of existing QA engineers and the broader development community.
- Ability to inspire and shape a high level best practice for testing within the department.
- Define and implement tests within scrum team, to be an active member of the scrum team.
- To communicate and disseminate automation best practice across the department.
- Help enhance a delivery with high quality' culture that is accountability and results orientated
- Work closely with developers and product owners as part of an Agile software delivery team to jointly deliver quality software
- To drive the full integration of automation tests into a Continuous Delivery framework
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience of multiple QA and SDLC methodologies, including high throughput, low latency, low error tolerant systems.
- Track record of delivery in an agile environment.
- Ability to communicate and demonstrate how the QA role fits into an Agile development process.
- Team player, who strives to maximise team and departmental performance
- Understanding of, and experience with, continuous delivery
- Sound technical heritage
- Experience working with multiple development teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of QA automation, frameworks and ability to assess and contrast betwixt.
