- The System Architect tests and provides input to help determine solutions systems architectural design and strategy around core server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements, and networking protocols.
- The Architect analyzes technical issues related to the implementation of new technologies or even the customization of existing technologies for a client.
- Manages project expectations, resources, and timelines.
- Prepares and owns documentation and drives in compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Managing the relationship with suppliers.
- Monitors industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technology Consultant, System Engineer or in a similar role Experience managing/participating in moderate to large technology build and/or implementation projects
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMWare, MySQL, and Oracle
Compensation
This position is for a one year contract with great opportunities and potential for extension or conversion. The position will pay a minimum of $60per hour. This Healthcare organization is eager to hire and encourages all interested applicants to apply as soon as possible.
