Our client, a Global Financial Services company is looking for a management reporting analyst to assist in the coordination of the annual budget and forecast process and various management strategic initiatives. You will be helping Senior Management in the analysis and preparation of Budget and Forecasting figures in relation to management reporting.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform local management reporting (e.g. monthly management result book, paradigm reporting, board management presentation, monthly flash reporting, 3 Year Plan dashboard, CIB dashboard, etc.)
- Ensure timely distribution / submission of accurate reports
- Perform sanity checks / high-level reviews of monthly and quarterly reports, raising questions to the senior reporting analysts for further investigation
- Help ensure the control and integrity of data within the tools / systems that our team utilizes
- Document and keep procedures for the production of all reporting tasks up-to-date
- Update and maintain static data (i.e. tables) for which the team is responsible
- Support the team's tools / databases, as well as its reporting templates / models and macros

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in financial accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, and/or management reporting, preferably within a global financial services company.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study.
- CPA a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of business line professionals and territory functions staff
- Strong planning and organizational skills:
- Ability to prioritize, responds to time sensitive situations, and work in a fast-paced, and deadline-focused environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities - attention to detail.
- Motivation, initiative, leadership, teamwork orientation, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Business Objects

Location: Midtown Manhattan
Duration: 9 month contract to hire
Compensation: $40-$60/hour + 1.5 OT
