FINANCIAL ANALYST
DESCRIPTION:
Manages and analyzes monetary resources and affairs within an organization.
May also be responsible for conducting technical accounting research as needed.
Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Updates and collects business unit reporting packages, helps prepare ad hoc financial reporting as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
BA in Finance or Accounting required plus minimum 6+ years of direct relevant experience.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients.
Detailed oriented.
Team Player.
Proficient in MS Office, ie excel, word, Powerpoint, access. NEEDS TO BE ADVANCED IN EXCEL MORE THAN PIVOT TABLES, FORMULAS AND FUNCTIONS
Computer programming, ie SQL, a plus
STRONG COMMUNICATOR
MUST HAVE STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF ACCOUNTING CONCEPTS.
MUST BE FLEXIBLE WHEN ASKED TO PERFORM SOME LOWER LEVEL OR CLERICAL DUTIES
