A contract martini support analyst role has arisen within an investment bank in the City of London. This role will be very 2nd to 3rd line based and is looking to pay between £500-£550PD.The applicant will have in-depth knowledge of Martini application with a minimum of 2 years experience is required. The applicant is expected to have strong technical skills and exposure to the Security Finance trading environments (Repo, SBL, Collateral management and Fixed Income). The main part of the role will involve working with the Martini trading system serving various trading desks. Since this is integrated with both our pricing and post trade systems the candidate must have a thorough understanding of the entire trade flow process and STP.
The applicant will need to have strong and demonstrableproblem solving and root cause analysis skills. In addition, good SQL (Oracle), C++ and unix skills will be required.
The bank uses the ITIL framework for IT service management via HP Service Centre. Familiarity with ITIL will be useful as it is used to manage changes, incidents and problems within the team. Use of specific problem solving / root cause analysis methodologies would be welcome.
Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and BCP will be required. Any experience with IT audit requirements and segregation of duties will also help the applicant to settle into their role quickly.
