Stress/FE Engineer (Thermal Simulations) - 12mths+ - Belgium - euro50-55p/hr
I am looking to recruit an engineer with experience of thermal simulations. The Succesful candidate will support colleagues with less experience and will be responsible for the quality of the work delivered by the team (similar as last time).
Role Responsibilities:
- Simulation of the temperature field in the structural parts of a compressor
- Communication with internal customers
- Translate the problem statement of the customer to an appropriate FE analysis
- Coach colleagues in Belgium and India in the execution of service projects
- Review of FE models and reports made in Belgium and India
- Translate simulation results to a solution for the customer
- Follow-up the planning of all running projects
Skills/Experience
- Experience in thermal FE analysis
- Sound background in FEA and MSC.Nastran
- Experience with mechanical design
- Knowledge of compressors is an advantage but not a requirement
