Description
On behalf of my client who is based in the Geneva-Lausanne area in Switzerland, I am currently seeking a medical devices human factor engineer for a initial 5 months contract with good chance of extension.Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in human factors and software interface design
- Experience with design control process for medical devices
- Experience with current medical device regulations for the EU and US
- Good knowledge regarding the human factor standards IEC 62366 and HE75
- Training to software interface design
- Master, PhD or MD degree
- Fluent in English
- Confident personality able to take independent decisions
- Team player
Task and Duties (not limited to the following points):
- Ensure human factors considerations are embedded into the design of the existing products
- Identify and qualify suitable human factor testing laboratories
- Be the contact point for any question or training on human factors
- Generate internal human factors summary report
- Train and support suppliers regarding human factors
- Perform early review of user interfaces, instructions for use and training material
