My Client, a major engineering company, is the in the process of hiring several different engineers in the following disciplines for their Houston office:Process Engineer, Piping Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Instrument, Electrical and Controls Engineers, Civil/Structural Engineers and Project Engineers.

Basic Function
Responsible for planning and conducting work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adoption and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
Assists in the development of new approaches to problems encountered.
Works as a lead engineer for a small to large projects
Principal Accountabilities
Plans, schedules, conducts and co-ordinates detailed phases of engineering work as a lead engineer in a large scale project, or as a lead engineer in a moderate or small project. Directs personnel in order to achieve project technical requirements in accordance with the project policy.
Performs work, which involves conventional engineering practices, but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, suitability of standard materials, and difficult co-ordination requirements.
Ensures effective coordination within the engineering group, the project team and other groups.
Ensures that the execution policy, designs and specifications reflect minimum overall cost through engineering, procurement and construction in accordance with the project policy.
Approve design documents prepared by engineers.
Technical and Academic Requirements
BSc Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
3 to 25 years or more of progressive applicable experience.
