ODI Developer/Architect

Exciting opportunity to work on a leading BI Data Warehousing project, excellent experience ODI on Senior Developer to start immediately on a leading project.
Role Summary:
* The Business Intelligence (BI) Senior Developer/ODI Architect is to design and develop a range of ODI interfaces to migrate data between end points.
* Performance tuning new and existing ODI interfaces to deal with ever increasing data volumes and working with a small and focused project team inc. ODI architects developers and testing resources.
* You will be responsible for the analysing business requirements, the translation of the requirements and to generate low level designs eg mapping sheets, the development of ODI interfaces and/or supervising the development of other junior team members as well as providing support as required to the team to meet the overall objectives in terms of both time and quality.
* You will design, code, test, and document BI ODI interfaces inc. any supporting physical and/or logical objects and appropriate documentation as per company standards to release the interfaces to test-to-live environments.
Essential Skills:
* Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities, allied with a strong understanding of Business Intelligence structures, principles, theories and practices with specific focus on Oracle technologies.
* Sound and demonstrable knowledge of Oracle data warehouse methodologies and Datamodelling practices and techniques
* Oracle ODI design and development experience: minimum of 6 years of ODI development experience ideally gained within an environment dealing with significant data volumes
* Demonstrable experience in dealing with both flat file and XML file formats, transformations and associated ODI dsign/processing challenges.
* Clear and demonstrable PL/SQL skills and abilities with the ability to design, develop and tune direct database queries as required
* Demonstrable experience handing large data volumes within ODI and be able to communicate best practice approaches in terms of ODI tuning and Oracle as a whole.
* As a secondary skill: primary focus of the role and skills is ODI development - ideally possess Oracle OBIEE design and development experience of a minimum of 3 years and a minimum of the ability to interpret/tune the OBIEE presentation layers
