Description
End to end system requirement definition for both signalling and content delivery is an essential part of the architect function. Will perform planning and consultation, and training of testers for validation of the migration of an existing Mediaroom deployment to a new Mediaroom architecture in order to ensure feature parity and flawless changeover for production customers. Responsibilities include system planning, requirement analysis and definition, designing, integration of the solution, troubleshooting and training of testers on the Mediaroom IPTV architecture. The equipment includes Intel based Servers, Microsoft server technology, Ethernet IP switching/routing equipment, Secure Digital IPTV technologies. Required to write technical documentation to support research. Extensive travel required.
SKILLS:
- 10+ years of experience
- Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV ecosystem
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer
- Microsoft Certified System Administrator
- System center configuration manager
- MPEG/Multicast Video technology.
- VOD
- TCP/IP, Multicast, routing protocols, SLL and secure remote communication systems
- Strong System Integration skills with external interfaces including access network system.
- Cisco or Juniper certification is a plus
- Knowledge of Playready or other comparable DRM platforms for over the top content delivery is a plus.
