QC Analyst (HPLC) required for Pharmaceutical Company in Dublin for a nine month contract.Role description
The QC Analyst in the Pharmaceutical industry in Dublin will have the following responsibilities:
- The testing of Finished Product Samples:
i) HPLC for Assay, Uniformity of Content, Dissolution and Impurities
ii) Physical Analysis by Appearance, Weight, Hardness, Disintegration, Friability
iii) Liaising with secondary laboratories in regard to Contract Testing
iv) Testing of samples as part of 'Out of Specification' and 'Out of Trend' analysis
- Maintenance of the Laboratory Calibration and Maintenance Schedule:
i) Calibration of Laboratory equipment as per Maintenance Schedule
ii) Liaising with external Calibration Vendors
iii) Involvement with IQ, OQ, PQ on new and existing equipment
- Validation Activities:
i) Taking Swab/Rinse samples from Production & Packaging equipment and subsequent testing as per HPLC
ii) Testing of routine Finished Product validation samples
iii) Testing of samples for Method Transfer between laboratories
iv) Various laboratory validation studies
Who we're looking for
The ideal QC Analyst in the Pharmaceutical industry in Dublin will have:
Required:
- A Degree in Science or a relevant field
- Experience working with HPLC in the pharmaceutical industry
Desirable:
- Experience in Dissolution, Uniformity of Content, Assay and Related Substances testing of whole tablets.
- Experience in Raw Material Analysis using Ph Eur Monographs.
