Description
My cliient are based in London and looking for an Onsite NetApp Storage administrator.
Beginning around 1st July you must have the following skill set:-
ESX v4.1 and 5.0 Windows Server 2008 NFS and iSCSI Data ONTAP v8.x OnCommand (v5.0.1) inc. reporting and Performance Advisor.
Virtual Storage Console (v4.0) to include backup of datasets and individual VM restores SnapDrive for Windows - including integration into VSC - SnapManager for SQL - including backup of VMDK- SnapManager for SharePoint - Thin provisioning at LUN and Flex Volume level -Deduplication, Multistore, DataMotion
You will be responsible for the general day to day admin of Production controllers, including:
Review of file performance - high CPU and B2Bs
Daily SnapMirror lag times
Review OnCommand events
Ensuring volumes have sufficient free space - monitoring vol autogrow messages and actioning
Ad hoc informal training on specific areas, recently including VSC/OnCommand reports
Creating of new VM datastores
Move towards VSC consistent snapshots from filer scheduled snapshots
General health and optimization of environment utilising NetApp best practice
