SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER (AVP) LEVEL - FOREIGN EXCHANGE - LEADING INVESTMENT BANK - CANARY WHARF LONDON - Full SDLCI have an opportunity for a Senior Java Developer Assistant Vice President Level (AVP) in Foreign Exchange (FX) in a Leading Investment Bank located in Canary Wharf. The team are responsible for all Front-Office facing applications in pricing, risk and electronic trading and all developers are involved in the Full SDLC.
Responsibilities:
- Close interaction with Traders and Quants to gain an understanding of requirements
- Improve existing platform and develop new pricing/hedging functionality in Java
- Mentoring and managing junior members
- Continual improvement of SDLC
Requirements:
- Commercial Java development experience
- Developed low latency, high performance software in Java
- Excellent core Java
- Java OO Design
- Recent experience in eFX technology team
- Experience in front office
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems
- Good degree in mathematical or scientific subject from a top tier university
