My public sector client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their team in Sheffield on an initial 12 month contract. The role will involve reconciling operational databases and financial ledgers, budget management & reporting, managing operational processes, supporting & maintaining accounting policies and ensuring shared understanding of cost drivers with budget holders and using this data to produce evidence based forecasts.
The ideal candidate will hold full membership of a CCAB accounting institute, or recognised equivalent, and will have a high level of IT skills including familiarity with Oracle and strong knowledge of MS Excel. The role holder will have substantial experience of financial accounting and reporting coupled with knowledge of accounting for financial products.
