FPGA Design Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire
Rate: £40 - £45 (depending on experience)
Term: 6 months (with potential to extend further) Contract
Start Date: ASAP
An FPGA design engineer is required for a leading defence company based in Hertfordshire on an exciting new project in the development of FPGA's for cockpit navigation systems.
Key Skills and Experience required:
*Extensive experience of FPGA/ASIC designs using VHDL (essential)
*Development of VHDL code against a set of requirements to an agreed coding standard
*Full FPGA life cycle from planning through to production transition
*Functional Verification in a safety critical field
*Good understanding of Xilinx, Verilog, Modelsim
Security Clearance would be an advantage but can be applied after and must have right to work in the UK without Visa or sponsorship.
