Location: Reading, Slough, Redhill and Guildford
Rate: £300 - £320 per day
Duration: 12 months
A well known company has created a new position within its engineering department for a systems software engineer.
This position has been created as the engineering manager has had a new and exciting project arise. This company continues to grow and work on innovative products.
Job Role:
You will be an absolute key member of the build team, your role will involve upstream Android/Qualcomm codeline inspection and patch selection.
As a day to day task you will work with the software build, integration, test, release (BITR) system. You will be responsible for delivering and refining the upstream code merge aspects of the continuous integration (CI) and release process.

Skills:
You will need to have in-depth and hands-on experience of working with multiple upstream Android and Qualcomm codelines using Git/Gerrit and other related build and release tools.
Configuration and automation of full Android product software build integration test release (BITR)

An experienced and talented senior engineer to join a small advanced development team and make an immediate impression on a high-profile project.
