My client is looking for a C++ Developer to work on the server side of a Clearing Project within the FICC space. The position requires someone to work with the Business to gather and analyse requirements and find the most appropriate technical solutions. After this, the role will involve analysing, designing, developing, testing and deploying new applications. (A full and detailed spec is available for candidates matching the below requirements)
The successful C++ Developer will need to have the following ESSENTIAL experience and skills -
- Extensive experience of writing C++ multithreaded server applications on Linux/Solaris
- Worked on multi-tier enterprise systems which have a high frequency of messaging elements between servers and server to GUI
- Greenfield development experience and been heavily involved in a full lifecycle development project
- Strong finance background preferably with an Investment Bank or a Hedge Fund
- (Nice to have) C# development experience
- (Nice to have) Experience within the FICC space
