Description
We are looking for a Interoperability Test Engineer onsite in Hong Kong.
The IOT (Inter-Operability Test) department is looking for a field test engineer with focus on verification of GSM, WCDMA and LTE systems. You will be part of a team situated in Lund Sweden but will work independently in Hong Kong with your local IOT activities. You will also be involved in developing new test strategies and design test instructions, test cases etc. You will also work together with other teams outside IOT; eg Type Approval, System management and design teams. Hong Kong citizenship is required.
Required skills:
- Knowledge in GSM, WCDMA or LTE network procedures and an understanding of the protocol stack.
- Minimum one year of experience in the field of telecommunications, specifically work related to the air interface in GSM, WCDMA and/or LTE. Examples of previous work are with designing/testing/integrating RNCs or testing mobile platforms
- Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing
- Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently
- Good communication and documentation skills
- An advantage is experience of working with customer support and relations
- You should enjoy working in an international environment
- Possibility to travel
Preferred skills:
- Experience in interoperability testing and/or customer support within the network signalling area is beneficial
- Driving license
