Description
Manage IT projects, initiation through closeout, as assigned and within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule and objectives. Provide leadership for IT project team members and the Project Management process. Position generally used for projects requiring integration of multiple functional organizations. Works independently and mentors other project managers. Responsible for the pursuit of cost reductions and maximizing value on all assigned projects. Responsible for project communications and required negotiations with internal and external organizations. Directly accountable for the management of projects with an aggregate annual cash flow of over $3 million.Responsibilities:
- Monitor project progress and track deliverables using Microsoft Project
- Facilitate issue resolution and escalate to customer and/or management as needed
- Manage all testing cycles and deliverables
- Support user testing and manage defect resolution
- Coordinate migrations and all production/test change requests
- Lead team meetings
- Will work directly with business subject matter experts in developing and confirming the design, build, etc
- Provide weekly progress reports to Project Manager during scheduled status meetings and via status reports.
- Develop presentations as needed for project updates
- Coordinate with change and training team
- Perform pre-deployment activities and documentation
- Support Post production support
- Work with support team on transition
- May assist with other areas of the project as time permits.
- Scope and code freeze management
- Track project earned value
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Technical or Management Discipline with 10 years overall experience of which 6 years have been as a project team member. OR 12 years of directly applicable industry experience, 6 years of which must be in the field of management of projects AND PMP Certification. Must have Hands on PMO experience.

- Ability to work independently and manage a team of 5-10 developers
- Previous experience managing medium to large sized projects
- Experience with business requirement management
- Full test cycle management including planning, execution, and metrics
