Product Manager/Executive Product Manager - UCD - User Experience - Audience Needs - Stakeholder Management
Our well known digital broadcast client requires a Product Manager to lead on product strategy and definition for one or more of the team's priorities. You will work closely with product teams - such as News, Homepage or VOD services - to successfully roll out new features.
Key Responsibilities
- You will work in partnership with user experience staff to ensure products are well designed and fully tested with real users, focussed on clear metrics and targets
- Define and develop a specific product strategy for one or more parts of the Online Engagement proposition
- Develop and maintain business case and understand the needs of the audience and internal clients
- Manage end of product life cycle, making decisions on reinvestment, transitioning to maintenance or product retirement
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivery partners
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Significant professional Product Management experience with an in-depth understanding of specific audience needs
- Experience with transaction-based websites or user registration systems
- Excellent knowledge of social, customisation, and personalisation functionality, with a strong strategic awareness
- A good understanding of user-centred design processes
- Excellent communication skills & stakeholder management to a wide range of audiences
- Extensive experience of product development life cycle and experience shipping software products
