Senior Finance Manager - Swindon - 4 Month contract - up to £650 a day
This large financial organisation is actively seeking a Senior Finance Manager for a 4 month contract. With multiple branches all over the UK they are the market leaders within their sector, however this role is based at their head quarters in Swindon.
This role required a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent, ideally with experience within a banking environment. You will have the ability to filter technical accounting advice and make it applicable for the internal and external stakeholders. You will also deliver on accounting policy frameworks which will define accounting policies and offer governance for technical accounting decisions.
This role will be suited to someone from an Audit background with strong technical knowledge.
Key skills and experience required for Senior Finance Manager role:
- Have a good level of understanding around IFRS
- Have experience of external statutory reporting within a corporate environment
- Experience designing and implementing regulatory reports
- Experience leading a finance team.
- Experience working within Financial Services or Banking
As you'd expect this is not your normal accounting role. It requires you to be constantly solution focused, you'll be the technical champion on projects and you'll play a key part to delivering our year end results.
