Job Summary:
This position is responsible for working within a team to create, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts, in support of a set of global tools, systems, and databases. Additionally, this position is responsible for executing and coordinating internal and external test phases, investigating and troubleshooting application issues, and working with developers to identify and document problem areas and contribute to constructive solutions. These responsibilities are to be accomplished according to the defined software development release plan.
Additional responsibilities include:
Ensuring compliance to established usability and performance standards, communicating risks and issues, in support of the release of high-quality software. The position is responsible for gaining business and technical expertise in the dealer management system.
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years of successful quality assurance, customer service, or systems development experience on computer systems.
Demonstrated experience in testing and quality assurance methodologies and practices.
Demonstrated communications skills to effectively provide and receive information relative to assigned projects.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills to identify and explain constructive solutions.
Demonstrated organizational skills to handle changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated attention to detail and quality measures.
Demonstrated success in a team-oriented work environment.
Experience writing queries against a database is a plus.
Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
Education Required:
A bachelor's degree in Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent is required.
