Description
A Senior Quality Engineer is needed for a blue chip semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be contributing their knowledge in the automotive business line. Part of their portfolio consists of transceivers for physical layers like LIN-, CAN-, Flexray and Ethernet. These transceivers can also be part of System basis Chips, where several functions are integrated on one chip, offering their automotive customers complete system solutions.Job Responsibilities:
As Senior Quality Engineer you play an important role in product development and sustaining continuous improvement the high intrinsic and extrinsic quality levels of our automotive in-vehicle networking products on the path to true ‘Zero Defects’. You will be involved in multidisciplinary project teams from product concept till volume production.
Your responsibilities will be:
•Ensuring the technical quality/reliability of the product
•Ensure the customer’s quality requirements are met
•Perform risk analyses
•Define risk and failure-mechanism based product qualification strategies
•Customer quality documentation
•Lead cross-department 8D- and improvement teams and guard the quality aspects of change management.
•Support marketing and quality account management and interact with customers on technical quality related topics in development and sustaining.
Job Requirements:
•Bachelors/Masters degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent education
•You will have a minimum 7 years of experience in Semiconductor industry
•Familiar with IC reliability and Semiconductor processing (FE&BE) or willingness to learn.
•Familiar with quality tools (FMEA, 6-Sigma, DoE, 8D, 3x5Why, etc.).
•Analytical thinker, problem solver, pragmatic, ability to keep helicopter view
•Team player, strong in communication, interaction, presentation and reporting (English), trustful appearance towards customers
•High level of independence with the ability to perform in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment under sometimes stressful situations.
