My client is looking for an experienced procurement interim with a wide range of category management experience to join a changing commercial function.
Key deliverables:
- work closely with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions to the customer
- deliver some specific procurements including, but not limited to, postal solutions and insurance
- develop procurement procedures
- ensure skills transfer
Essential skills:
- demonstrable experience of buying service based categories
- category management experience
- both public and private sector experience
- demonstrable cost savings experience
- ability to manage large, complex procurement projects
- ideally experience of working within a shared service environment
- ideally MCIPS qualified
