Network Architect/Cisco Routing and Switching Engineer

Description

My client, a large blue chip organisation are looking for a Network Architect/Cisco Routing and Switching Engineer. You will be required for the testing, configuration and implementation of Nexus 7Ks, 2Ks, edge Switches and Firewalls in the clients data centre. This is part of a large infrastructure upgrade project with switching, virtualisation and SAN upgrade.

You will have knowledge of integration, implementation with data centre routing and switching on Nexus platform.

The role deliverables are to build the network environment on the clients site, update code on hardware to latest Cisco release. Build and test software to allow integration to client infrastructure. Carry out fail over testing of environment and configure equipment ready for installation.

Knowledge of CCIE will be advantageous.
