SDN/NPV Network Engineer
An SDN/NPV Network Engineer is required for global Technology group based in Dublin West. The SDN/NPV Network Engineer will be part of a growing team and be involved with large enterprise projects
3 month contract with over 2 years of work in the pipeline
West Dublin/Kildare location

Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the participation in one or more of our projects, the design and characterization of virtualized network functions and software defined architectures as well as the documentation of the results.
Skills required:
This position ideally suits an individual with a strong background in Software Defined Network architectures and technologies.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of virtualised network functions and knowledge of how NFV can be implemented successfully into an SDN architecture.
Successful applicants will bring a strong background in Networks, Operating Systems, testing and integrating existing technologies to future services.
A plus is experience with cloud OpenStack, OpenNebula and virtualization technologies
