Job Description -Performs a variety of engineering work in designing, planning and overseeing manufacture, construction, installation, operation and maintenance of electric or electronic components, equipment, systems, facilities and machinery used in generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical energy for domestic, commercial and industrial consumption.
May supervise staff of Engineers, Designers, and/or Technicians.
Typically would possess a degree in electrical Engineering.
In addition to the tasks identified in the Job description, this individual would also be tasked with assisting and in some cases leading design efforts for test fixturing, building of the fixturing, writing test protocols, executing test protocols, compiling data and submitting the reports. They will also assist the systems team with other electrical engineering tasks as needed.
Individual needs to have a strong electrical engineering background but be comfortable with electromechanical assembly and hands-on lab work as well.
