Oracle DBA, Avaloq, PL/SQL, Solaris, MS SQL, MYSQL.Oracle DBA required for a multi-national company based in Warsaw, Poland - Market rates and your salary expectation will be taken into account for this role.
Job overview:
After the introduction into the application portfolio / IT infrastructure / development environment and into Avaloq your tasks and responsibilities would be.
Installation and maintenance of Avaloq Banking System.
Design, installation, creation, backup, management and documenting database infrastructure.
Maintenance, monitoring and tuning of Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL databases.
Respond to and resolve database request/access and performance issues.
Management of Unix/Linux systems: Oracle Solaris and Oracle Linux.
Development and maintenance of existing application portfolio, mainly in PL/SQL.
End-to-end programming and parameterization of business applications.
Client Support.
Your qualifications:
Oracle 11g database administration and installations skills on Oracle Solaris.
MS SQL 2008 R2 & MySQL 5.x administration skills on Windows servers.
2-3 years of experience in working as an Oracle DBA (Oracle certification would be a plus).
Experience in working with MS SQL and/or MySQL Database.
Basic Unix/Linux administration knowledge.
At least 1-2 years of experience with PL/SQL programming.
Ability to work independently and organized.
Proactive attitude to continuous improvement.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English.
