For a client in Vevey we are currently looking for a Network Engineer.

Within the Network Team, the Network Engineer will be responsible for the management and maintenance of an innovative network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, security devices, Data Centers, with associated virtualization services and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities:

· Deploy an innovative networking environment, define configurations standards, document and enforce these standards.

· Optimize network availability, through performance monitoring, problem and outage troubleshooting , in a close collaboration with network architects

· Secure the network Architecture and associated services by enforcing security team policies

· Define and monitor KPIs.

· Manage, maintain and improve Monitoring Tools.

· Collaborate with the external providers and partners.

· Participate to an on-call duty

Skills:

· Engineer in Information Technology.

· Graduate of HES/ES or recognized equivalent.

· Highly confident with Network technologies (like IP addressing and routing, Wireless, VoIP, Security, WAN Optimization, Load Balancing, etc…)

· Proven experience with Cisco Network technologies (OS and Hardware)

· A Cisco certification (CCNA or CCNP)

· Outstanding planning and organization skills

· ITIL service management concepts Knowledge

· Problem solving ability and excellent communication skills

· Fluent in French and English
