Within the ICT department of X, you are expert in the Foundation project. This project aims to simplify application integration and apply a consistent integration strategy, based on a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and process oriented development. The platform selected to support this evolution is Webmethods of Software AG: Integration Platform, Centrasite, BPMS engine. The project seeks reinforcement to define and implement the webMethods architecture, methodology and guidelines, as well as to support development teams evolving our applications towards this new approach.You act in a team of Webmethods specialists and architects. You will design and implement the Webmethods technology that integrates in the current postal context (application technologies, standards). Additionally, in close collaboration with Application Architecture team, you are responsible for the technical strategy and standards related to the webMethods platform, as well as for application life-cycle management and for guarding the architectural quality of our applications. You will as well be a beacon of knowledge and technical skills to support new teams adopting the webMethods stack.
Responsibilities:
In order to achieve this, you will be responsible for:
-The webMethods architecture, in collaboration with the other webMethods specialists and the X application architects:
oPropose the correct webMethods design for a given requirement
oCreate consensus amongst all stakeholders
oSupport definition of service
oProvide continuous operational support for the whole ESB platform
-Guiding/supporting senior analysts, developers and implementations :
oHigh-level solution design, in SOA manner, tackling all project requirements
oHigh-level business process design
oSupport the migration of existing developments based on our current EAI platform towards the newly selected platform(s)
oSupport the implementation of new or refactoring of existing (master data) interfaces into qualitative (basic) services
-Support system administrators to set up and adopt the webMethods suite
Technical skills:
Technicall skills
•You are an experienced ICT Technical Architect. You can make clear and motivated architectural designs.
•You have experience in SOA governance of large ICT organisations
•You have advanced hands on experience such that you can act as last line support, resolving issues that junior webMethods developers have adopting the webMethods technology
•You have at least 4 year of working experience with the webMethods suite
•Advanced experience with Centrasite (8.2) is a bonus
•Advanced experience with BPMS, Optimize, Mashzone
•You are an expert in the webMethods domain
•You have gained experience in integration projects and know which are best practices ("integration design patterns") or potential pitfalls.
Soft skills:
You have very good analytical & conceptual skills, which allow you to propose the right actions.
•You have excellent communication skills (presentations, trainings, …).
•You can work autonomously and are proactive.
