A contract opportunity until December 2014 is available for an experienced ITSM Problem Manager.

Looking for an ITSM Process Problem Manager to join one of our largest client projects in a contract role commencing as soon as possible. This position has been created to provide guidance and rapid resolution of problems in the support of a large project.

Key responsibilities Include:

  • the provision of problem management and escalation in accordance with our client's process;
  • support and escalation of problems in support of a major ICT rollout;
  • reporting as required;
  • team leadership as required;
  • bring stakeholders together to resolve problems in a timely manner.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills with ability to think strategically;
  • Personal attributes of integrity, self-motivation and initiative;
  • Ability to manage stakeholders to achieve results;
  • Highly developed time management skills;
  • Demonstrable knowledge, understanding and experience of ITIL (ITILv3 desirable);
  • Change management and the application of ITIL change management frameworks, and processes in a complex, high demand ICT customer delivery environment;
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proven experience to effectively prioritise and manage work to ensure on time delivery of required outcomes;
  • Ability to proactively engage stakeholders to ensure the ongoing effective management and delivery of required ICT Change Management practices and outcomes.
