Risk Manager - Solvency II
We are currently looking to hire a Risk Manager to work on solvency II within a FTSE 100 insurance company. We are looking to speak with Risk Manager who have extensive experience within regulatory risk and preferably life insurance experience.
Risk Manager Responsibilities;
- To provide high quality expertise and strategic direction as the technical lead for risk services.
- Work proactively with other Risk Managers to help with identification and mitigation of all existing, new and emerging Solvency 2 risks.
- Ensuring all risks are appropriately captured and managed and escalated as appropriate.
- Act as a key contact for the Corporate Centre Solvency 2 project team.
- Support governance frameworks for managing the Solvency 2 project work, through project reporting and status calls etc.
- Lead and own the process for annual Operational Risk Quantification (ORQ) assessment for inclusion in the ORSA reporting, working with key contacts around the market unit.
Risk Manager skills and experience:
- Life insurance or General insurance experience
- Excellent Risk Management experience
- In-depth knowledge of Solvency II
- ORSA experience is desirable
- Stakeholder management
- Professional qualification is highly desirable.
