Description
A Medical Device corporation in Northern Indiana is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on Tooling. This is a six month contract with the potential to hire. The rate is $50 to $65 per hour based upon experience.Over the course of 12 months this company will see an increase in their spinal therapies projects. This has caused an increase in workload which has created the need for a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on Tooling to join the manufacturing team.
As a Manufacturing Engineer your day to day activities will consist of taking work orders from internal customers. You will be responsible for the CAD design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures, and special tooling for use in machining, metal finishing, and assembly operations for all product lines.
Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:
- 2+ years Tooling Engineering experience
- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or Manufacturing
- Proven track record of designing fixtures and tooling
- Metals experience
- Experience working within a regulated environment
- CAD PRO/E experience
